Hello! I'm hoping to get some feedback on a situation I'm in to see if I'm overreacting or if this is a problem. Last weekend a friend (well ex friend) and someone I dated for a couple months about 8 years ago, posted some horrible comments about my bf on a social media site. Since then, my boyfriend has mainly blamed me for what happened, saying I allowed it. He said he did not want to talk to me and wanted to be left alone to figure out what is best for him and us. Since then I have been getting the silent treatment. I recently emailed him, asking if we could talk, apologizing for allowing that person in my life even though I had no idea he would do such a thing. Still nothing. Does this sound normal or has it gone too far?

don't apologize unless you want to keep apologizing for every unfounded and stupid "feeling" he has--unless you know, in your heart, that you really did do something wrong.
